Chromium Copper Electrode

Introduction
Chromium copper electrode is a kind of copper-based alloy electrode combines by chromium and copper, by heat treatment and cold combination methods to get the best mechanical and physical properties, chromium copper used as EDM electrodes can pitting the ideal mirror, while with standing performance, could made to sheet, which is difficult to achieve for pure copper.
Properties
Chromium copper electrode with high electrical and thermal conductivity, high hardness, wear antiknock, crack resistance and high softening temperature, welding speed, low cost, suitable for use as EDM and welding electrodes. It is the best choice on the substitution of tungsten copper material based on the material cost.
Application
Welding electrode: Chromium copper by heat treatment and cold combination of methods to ensure the performance, it can get the best mechanical and physical properties, and it is used for general welding electrode. The main applications is for spot welding or seam welding low carbon steel, coated steel electrodes can also be used as low-carbon steel welding electrode grip when the shaft and cushioning material, or as a projection welding machine large molds, fixtures, stainless steel and heat-resistant steel mold or inlaid electrode.
EDM electrode: Chromium copper with good thermal conductivity, high hardness and wear antiknock, it is used as EDM electrode has a good standing, playing sheet bend and finish advantages. When used in spark discharge chromium copper with heat, long life and other characteristics compare to copper.
