Tungsten Copper Cuw93
93W7Cu is a high-tungsten-content tungsten copper alloy, consisting of 93% tungsten and 7% copper by weight. This composition combines the extreme heat resistance and mechanical strength of tungsten with the thermal and electrical conductivity of copper. It is typically manufactured via powder metallurgy, yielding a dense, uniform microstructure.

Key Characteristics
Exceptional Heat Resistance
With tungsten's melting point over 3400°C, the CuW93 alloy maintains excellent structural integrity under extreme thermal conditions.
Superior Arc Erosion Resistance
The high tungsten content gives the material outstanding resistance to arc erosion, making it ideal for high-voltage and high-current switching environments.
Good Conductivity and Thermal Management
While copper makes up only 7% of the alloy, it significantly enhances the material's ability to conduct electricity and dissipate heat efficiently.
High Density and Strength
The alloy typically has a density of 17.2–17.5 g/cm³, offering excellent mechanical durability and resistance to deformation or impact.
Typical Applications
